Pink Fairies:
One day, long, long ago, the Pink Fairies ruled silently in Hyrule. They watch over the balance of all and promoted love and peace. The people made shrines to them in different caves and holes. But soon, the people wanted more power and urged the fairies to give them magical gifts. The Pink Fairies could not give them what they wanted because it would disrupt the balance they had worked so hard to maintain. So the people began to capture them in an attempt to gain their gifts. The forest people understood the value of the fairies and peace and hid many fairies. Soon the fairies knew they would have to alter the balance and land in order to save the world. Thus, they placed a hazing magical spell to make their presence not that of the keepers of peace but hidden magical forces. They only visited and partnered with forest people from then on because they had protected them and were in touch with magic and peace. Decades after, one explorer found a fairy well with the Pink fairies. The world was balanced and at peace now, but the fairies were still wary. The young man had been born after the conflict but knew of the wonderful Pink fairies. The fairies knew that the world would be safe now, but decided to make one more change in the people's perception of them. In order to finish the change in the era and for the world to start a new beginning, they made the young man think of them as RED Fairies. Thus his generation, and the world, came into a new era and the Pink fairies were not even a legend anymore. Balance was restored, the world was at peace, and the Red fairies lived happily throughout the world.

Navi was still heartbroken about Link. He had died in the battle with Ganondorf, only a couple weeks ago. She had gone off, upset and confused, thinking over and over it was her fault. "If only I hadn't let him hinder my powers, Link might still be alive!" But he wasn't, and it was time to face facts. She would go back to the forest, she had decided. Tell Saria the news, if she didn't already know. Maybe contact that hansom blue fairy she met before being summoned to help Link. She was flying slowly and absentmindedly. So she didn't even notice the bottle sweeping toward her until she was trapped securely inside it. A freaky blue text box came out of no where. "You caught a fairy in a bottle! This is a reliable partner who will revive you the moment you run out of life energy. If you set it to 'C' though, you can ask for its help anytime."
"Wait!"Navi shouted, her voice muffled by the glass. "First of all, I'm a girl, not an it. Secondly, I'm not a Red Fairy! I can't heal!"
The young deku shub looked at her oddly, as if trying to figure out if this little creature could be talking to him. Just then, a yellow fairy popped out from behind him. Dingaling! It sounded as if a small bell was being tinkled. "Yes, Tatl?" The deku shub asked. "She's right, the fairy in the bottle can't heal you."
"What? Really? the deku shrub asked, confused. "Let me out!" shouted the small fairy in the bottle, Navi. She was release, and breathed a sigh of relief. "Now I know what those fairies felt like when Link caught them."
"Wait, my name is Link!" exclaimed the deku shrub. "What?" asked Navi. Link took of his deku mask... and transformed into the spitting image of what Navi's Link looked like when he was young. "Hey! You're Link!" Navi shouted in her annoying 'Hey! Listen!' voice. And suddenly, Link gets a new quest in Majora's Mask- get Navi back into Ocarina of Time!
